I'm only 20 ... could it really be colon cancer?

I'm a 20 year old female who has had problems with her bowel movements since freshman year of high school. It began as a few years of almost constant constipation (sometimes up to a week!) for which I was prescribed some kind of medicine that either was or was very similar to metamucil. It honestly did not work and it tasted horrible so I stopped taking it. Around my freshman year of college I became close to regular. I would have alot of constipation and then some diarrhea, and then a minority of regular bowel movements. Since high school, I have always had some blood in my stool. Some bright, some dark. I've always had problems with abdomenal pain -cramping, sharp pains, bloating and of course gas. Recently my stool has become small and thin and almost diarrhea-like, and I don't feel like I've finished going. My grandma died of colon cancer and I have relatives who have had polyps, but I'm only 20. I'm planning on getting a colonoscopy or something ....but how likely is it?

I have had 2 crazy experiences in the woods that I can not explain. I will not clog up your time recounting them, but this is what I want to say....both times I was scared to death and it was a primal fear, not regular fear. I drive a 1995 Nissan Sentra and tonight when I tried to start it up before work the engine wouldn't turn. I jumped it and was able to drive to the gas station, turn it off, turn it on and go to work. After work, I tried to turn on my car and it wouldn't turn over, so I jumped it again. Prior to this excursion, it had been sitting out in my driveway for several days, untouched, in this cold icy weather. I was wondering if I need a new battery or if it is just cold? These two majors may overlap quite a bit depending on what university you go to. You can work outdoors studying wildlife with a major in either of these..but like I said..you should check out what actual cles each has you taking and pick the major that concentrates more on training you to work in the field. Can a Low Flying Hawk swoop down a pick up a 7 pound elderly cat?

My cat is elderly and weighs about 7 pounds. She is still quite agile. She loves laying out in the back yard frequently weather permitting. I noticed a huge bird (I think a Hawk of some kind) with a huge wing span and it was flying lower than normal. This is in Florida. It was just about roof top high (ranch style home with regular ceilings) gliding over the back yard where she was at. I picked her up to protect her and it flew over to the neighbors house into a smaill tree and then perched on their roof. I think it got something but I'm not sure. Do I need to worry that it will swoop down and snatch a hold of my 7 lb, 14 year old cat?

Family feud between my sister and i please help me?

Ok so my 16 year old nephew was staying with my family for a few weeks when my sister was on vaction my wife caught my daughter kissing my nephew in her room now my sister is blaming my daughter for manipulating my son into . What is causing my shoulder pain?

I am a 32 year old female who has had worsening pain since I started a job where I have to sit at a computer for lengthy periods of time. I have been having right shoulder pain for 10 mos. that is like a gnawing, cramping pain just below the base of my neck. I also have pressure in the inner right forearm and numbness and tingling in my right hand which seems to be most severe in the middle, index and ring fingers. I had a shot of cortisone in my cervical spine which solved the problem for about 2 months. I have had 2 physical therapists tell me that these are clic symptoms of a bulged disc but my MRI did not reflect that. I had one doctor tell me that it is Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and another said it is just muscle spasms and I need to do more of an upper body workout. Physical therapy has helped but my sessions are limited due to insurance. I used a home decompression/traction unit but it seemed to cause severe headaches at the base of my skull. What could be causing this and what can I do to get rid of the pain?

I was on depo before I got pregnant and knew the date of my one and only period but they say it doesnt match. The second setup has a better processor, but the video card on the first one is better. The 2nd set up has an onboard HD3200 and a HD3450 in the PCI-E slot. I think you are much better off with the first one. To play those games I think you should have at least a GeForce 9600GT though. If you build your own pc it would be best because you can decide what to put for each component and it's cheaper.

What can help rash/dry skin on an 8 year old?

My 8-year-old son for years has gotten a sort of rash on his arms (fold area) and occasionally on his legs (fold area as well). His doc has always prescribed triamcinolone cream and usually in a day or so it has gone away. I recently ran out and it's come back and can't get him to the doc right away and since it is not a life or death situation I've been trying some home remedies and Cortaid at home as per the pharmacist as he says this is close to triamcinolone but OTC. Now the rash is gone but he has severely dry skin, kind of wrinkly. He thinks he has "old man skin." What can help? Thanks.

As I was taking the rubbish out to the bin just before I saw the moon, and do you know how the moon as light around it? I saw a huge circle so wide around it. The rest of the night sky was dark blue, but around the moon was a very large dark black circle and around that was light. I have never seen this before christians. I wished I had a camera, but I guess even if I did it would not have fitted in the film anyway. It was too large. I just though I would share this with you. a few years ago this man had a vision of God opening up the Heavens wiht his large hands and took the picture and sent it in to the weather buro and the person that saw it said it was amizing and could nto beleive his eyes. Physical Education for three and four year old children?

I am a new college grad and I'm working for a federally funded Pre_K Head Start program for three and four year old children in a poverty-level and low income area. The program is located within an elementary school. Our kids have to go to P.E. for twenty minutes and the instructor makes my kids do jumping jacks while chanting the ABC alphabet (which they haven't learned yet). The kids don't like doing callesthenics and they don't like this strange man. The coach complained to my Lead Teacher that I was interfering with his exercise routine since I was standing in the front of the cl, but off to the far right side. He never told me that he wanted me to stand in the back of the room so he would be directing my cl by himself. This all seems so wrong to me. These are three and four year old children. They aren't third and fourth graders. Exercise at this age is supposed to be enjoyable. These kids didn't like the difficult stretching and balancing moves and they were acting out because of frustration. I'm a new graduate and I'm very inexperienced with what goes on in elementary schools. Can anyone advise me on what is appopriate? Is this normal for elementary schools to teach the pre-K cl instead of allowing the Head Start Teacher to lead the kids herself in bunny-hiops and galloping-like-a-hors, or flying-lke-a-bird? I thought that learning at this age is all about making it playful and fun. Please advise. Thank you.

New pitbull pup almost bites my face! : (?

My husband and I got a puppy three days ago. We are already in LOVE with him. He's such a good boy, licks my kids like crazy, already almost housebroken.. sleeps in his crate at night, comes when we call him. Hasen't chewed up anything. He is a pitbull pup and he's 3 months old. We have two children and one on the way.. I have read a TON it seems on the breed and my husband loves the breed so much. Well Tito and I have been sitting on the couch for a few hours.. he's been sleeping, we've been cuddling. Sweet. Well I was holding him and kissing his face when he started growling. I said "What's wrong, boy?!" He growled again and snapped into my face like trying to bite me in the face. I have NO idea where that came from. I guessed maybe he had to pee bc he just woke from a nap and I was holding him. (?!) My husband let him out and now he's right here back with me on the couch laying beside me like nothing happened. What in the heck? Will he do this again? I'm thinking if he did that to me, my kids will DEF do something at one point or another. I am confused. I have just bought an ex-racehorse and am now beginning to start training it to jump. I am only trotting her at the present as i want her flatwork to be good first. Any tips on how to start training her to jump would be great. Also i don't have access to an arena until the summer but have very good fields to ride her in and they are dry and flat. I am trying to find the name of this old horror movie I glimpsed on TV as a youngster in the late 70s. My memory is really fuzzy but I recall it may have starred Peter Cushing and it may have been a Hammer Horror Film. It was in color and I'm not sure if it was set in England. There were these strange creatures that looked sort of like mutated turtles because I remember seeing turtle-like shells and they'd fall from above like as in from trees onto their victims. I liked it, and i usu. don't like animated/disney movies nor cartoons. nemo was an exception. but, the part where the fish with the large, sharp teeth came and chased nemo's parents and ate almost all the fish eggs and the mum at the v. beginning and when the shark is chasing nemo and dory were a tad scary for some little kids. when it first came out, we went with a 7/8 yr old and she was balling and had to go out and my younger brother got freaked out also-but that's certainly not the case for all kids. i liked it.

Today while horse-playing @ school with his friends, my stepsons cell phone got it's screen cracked...(apparently it was in his backpack and a friend kicked the backpack)..I called my husband at work.. He also doesn't want to the school to know, because horse playing @ school is an automatic dentition and he says if his dad says anything to make him get dentition, he will refuse to go to school.. My stepsons response was that he works hard for his allowance and doesn't want to pay for the phone.. I told him that doesn't he think he and his dad work hard for our pay check?? I agree that the formulaic approach to the business of music and the actual "music" has been played out and it's not a good formula. Maybe good for money purposes, but on the musical standpoint, and impact on youth its very negative. It's not dead however. MUSIC WILL NEVER BE DEAD. I don't like top 20 so I don't listen to top 20. I listen to stuff I find to be pleasing and or interesting, and I can always find something new and exciting somewhere. Whether it be from a different country, all sorts of genre's, tempos, scales, and the like. Overall, I think if people really hate top 20 as much as they say they should just look for better music like I do. If enough people do it, music industry will shift. Regardless I care not for the industry, but for good music so I don't really care, I just want good music and I intend to find it wherever and whenever.

My son wants to self feed and he plays with his feet while eating...?

So My son will be 6 months in 1 week. he only eat purees so im very cautious to let him feed himself. He can grab the spoon and stick it in his mouth but doesnt know to put it into the bowl he would rather take the bowl and try to eat it! When I used to body-build, creatine was one of my best tools for getting strong and building muscle in the off season. But when I was trying to cut, I couldn't take it. Creatine, by nature, makes you retain water, which makes you look soft. For me personally, it makes my appetite bad too. I feel like I have to eat constantly. I have this one problem where when someone walks by me they make little gust of wind to come by, and I have to pinch my nose and then pull my fingers down like I'm scratching my nose with my fingers. I also have this other one where I have to step on the lines of the carpet because if I don't I get a bad stomach ache (gotten better at that). One more was that I had to take an equal amount of steps and count them if I was walking a short distance. I used to have a few more, but I told myself, "I only have one shot at life. I don't want to be stuck with these weird habits." and soon enough they went away C: I'm losing my habits rapidly. Obviously every Mexican, just like every American, has his or her own opinion in regards to intercultural marriages, but I am simply wondering how common it would be for a Mexican + American couple to encounter racism from the Mexican community in the United States or from Mexicans in Mexico for being in a relationship together. Are there many Mexicans who would view such a relationship as somehow "stealing" from "their" women or their "raza", or that somehow the woman is betraying "her people" for being in a relationship with one of those "gringos"? Please don't get me wrong--my experiences with Mexicans on both sides of the border have been overwhelmingly positive and I rarely sense racism. However, I have never been in a real relationship with a Mexican and know that would maybe change some things, and I even wonder if the reaction varies with the region of Mexico or the US. Maybe So. Our washing machine drains into a wash basin. there is a drain filter that keeps getting clogged with lint and

the basin overflows and then i have to wet vac up the mess. my wife seems to be resistant to cleaning the lint out of the drain filter for every load. could i just leave the drain filter out permanently if they only thing being dumped into the basin is washing machine water and dirty water from when i flush the furnace? could either of these things eventually seriously clog the pipes if i leave the filter out?

I have sbc yahoo and I'm using Yahoo Messenger (beta) 7.0.0.242 for chat. My dosplay is and has always been set to 800by600pixels. Everytime I go online and click messenger it takes up the entire screen to the point that the only place I can grab it from is the top and drag it down.So I have to open control panel, disply, settings and set it to 1024by768, sometimes at 1152by869. Then I can go back and grab it and pull it back to normal.Then reset settings to 800by600.Its simple enough to do but I'M REALLY GETTING SICK UP AND FED WITH DIS CHIT,MANG! Nitrate level has spiked! Help!?

I've been out of town for a week and before I left I did my regular weekly water change (about 30%.) The tank of 1.5 feet by 0.5 feet by 0.5 feet. As soon as got home, I checked on all my fish (male guppies and endlers) and they were fine, so I was hoping I didn't have much to worry about...until I tested the water...my nitrite level and ammonia level came up 0ppm and 0.25ppm respectively, but my nitrate level was mive! almost 80ppm! I've since done two more water changes, once a day (about 30% each time,) but my nitrate level is still above 40ppm and the nitrite and ammonia levels still have not budged...Anyone have any advice? My fish are all still fine, but I still really want to get my nitrate level to someting more accpetable.

Feedback for choice on song and monologue for a High School Musical audition?

My community theatre is doing High School Musical. Seeing as I don't view myself as a Gabriella or a Sharpay, I've decided that I want to specifically audition for Kelsey. I've decided on "Another Op'nin', Another Show" from Kiss Me Kate as my song. Then I've chosen a monologue from the movie "That Thing You Do!". It's Faye's speech to Jimmy, breaking it off between them, to anyone who's seen it. There's also the dance portion, but I'm not really a great dancer. So I was hopefully wondering if anyone could give me some feedback as to whether my song and monologue choice are all right if I want to be Kelsey. I figure it shows my range, being a sad, dramatic monologue and an upbeat, "smiling" song. Also, if anyone has some tips on what to wear for the dancing portion, yet still look "Kelsey"-esque, that'd be great. Honey, they BOTH posses their own excellent "qualities" in their own separate ways, BUT I truly don't feel you'll end up seriously with either one of them in a quality lasting relationship for one reason or another unless "one" has a change to it. Yes you speak highly & respectfully of EACH one but it just seems to appear something is missing with each one! I feel you DO want to have a serious relationship especially with the one more than the other, but it seems to me there's something about him that seems to intimidate you about him. I DO however feel in time you would be able to overcome this obstacle & find out just the cause of it for whatever reason. It is quite possible you just could end up with this person! Only time will tell. I would however say to let go of the one who seems to be pursuing you, don't waste his time or yours with him. Just let him go & put him in your past & leave him there, Be honest with him tho so he has the opportunity to at least move on in fairness to him...the best to you, honey...:)

how to handle a deviant 14 year old.For example, he will pull every clothing item out of his closet just to dump on the floor.He is over weight so we took him to a doctor to get a check up and so forth and he refused to get out of his dad's truck.We took him to a counselor and he just sat there not talking. We have tried positive reinforcement and negative reinforcement.We got him an ortment of yard jobs and he refused because the people did not have a riding lawn mower.For us he will push the lawn mower 10 feet and say he is done.He was suppose to help a elderly lady put her recyclables out , he took one hamburger helper box out to the curb and left.I think the best example of this was when he was crying his tooth hurt on a Sunday. We got the dentist in on a Sunday afternoon and he pulled the tooth.That week it was fine that following weekend on a Sunday , he is bawling his tooth hurts, again the dentist..nothing wrong with it, no infection, no sinus infection.The next day he claims there was nothing wrong with his mouth.I get chest pains from this child.What can we do?
