So how did the Earth get it gravity?

Each galactic entity bends space time around it. Imagine a bed sheet held taught (that`s space) then throw a watermelon on it (that`s a galactic body) the sheet bends (that`s gravity) and anything else smaller that you put on the sheet will be attracted to it (the watermelon)
