Sold a car it broke?

We sold it a guy told him what we knew was wrong with it. He took it. Apparently there is a crack in the engine block. Now he wants his money back. What is going to happen? there were no written papers and we have a paper from firestone right before we sold the car that has the engine diagnostics test on it.
