Should I have cervical C5-C6 fusion?

If you've had PT (BTW, if your PT was not certified in mechanical diagnosis and therapy, I would highly recommend it before considering surgery...www.mckenziemdt.org) and epidurals without success and that two surgeons have recommended fusion that cervical fusion, especially with an anterior approach is highly successful for cervical radiculopathy. The anterior approach incision is very small, the scar is hardly noticeable, loss of motion is hardly anything and the recovery is about 12 weeks with minimal therapy, if at all. I've been highly impressed with the results of this surgery ever since they changed if from the posterior approach to the anterior approach...now if only we could get that success with lumbar fusions...
