Anyone have a real theory on Bigfoot?

I have had 2 crazy experiences in the woods that I can not explain. I will not clog up your time recounting them, but this is what I want to say....both times I was scared to death and it was a primal fear, not regular fear. I have read so many experience stories that involve this "Psychic attack" and being that I have felt it first hand, I have to wonder if this creature, IF REAL, may possess the ability to evoke deep fear without sight of the creature causing the fear. I am talking about this feeling of dread and panic that people have felt when they do not see anything. In my case, I had screeching and rocks thrown at me and a buddy and what ever it was, chased us out of the woods and was hurling rocks as big as bowling , So I had reason to fear, however even we did not see what was chasing and intimidating us. So the question is, do you think these elusive creatures could have developed the ability to project a feeling to another being without eye to eye contact?
