What's a safe homemade remedy to get rid of spider mites on my orchids?

rubbing alcohol is what i use. spray on stems and leaves. i would put plant on it's side so alcohol doesn't go into roots. also you can spray them down with water at least once a week. it interrupts the breeding cycle, maintain high humidity. spider mites thrive in hot dry conditions. good luck!
