Asked in another forum...possible carpal tunnel? Or worse?

Carpal tunnel would not make the hand shrink or cause odd sensations over the left side of the body. It will give pins and needles and at times some numbness in the fingers. He should go to the doctors about it, and yes, scare him if necessary to get him there.
