WILD BIRD LOVERS......HELP?

I'm getting ready to have to kill a mockingbird because he is making my life miserable. I love animals but, geez. What is a more humane way to get rid of him? His nest is about 20 feet from my front door and he acts like I can't get within 100 feet of it without swooping in for the attack. My cat can't eat in peace, and that's about 40 feet away AROUND A CORNER!!!! If anyone values the life of this bird please respond...........quickly.
