Can Guinea Pigs see in the dark?

I have recently gotten a hamster. I know that they are nocturnal and don't need light in the middle of the night. Now i am thinking of getting a Guinea Pig. Is it fine if i put the cage in the same room with the hamster because it is dark in that room? Can Guinea pigs see in the dark? Also if i do put them in the same room will my hamsters wheel bother my guinea pig in the middle of the night? If i don't put my guinea pig there, can i put my guinea pig in a room with a t.v? Finally will they get along fine if i put them in the same playpen???????? Thank You!
